The CMI FS-111 Forklift Scale is available under two part numbers:
FS-111A – Standard forklift scale configuration
FS-111P – Forklift scale configuration with printer
Choose the FS-111P if your operation requires printed weight information.
Installation requires a wire crimper for 16–14 AWG wire, zip ties, wrenches and sockets, side cutters or wire cutters, a 1/8-inch drill bit and drill, a 5/16-inch Allen key and Teflon thread sealant tape for the pressure transducer.
Install the RAM clamp base on the right side of the forklift cage using the screws supplied with the kit.
Using a 5/16-inch Allen key to tighten the RAM clamp base screws securely during installation.
CMI recommends using the fuse slot for the forklift gauge cluster as the power source for the FS-111.
The FS-111 is accurate to ±2% of the fork truck capacity. It is intended for operational and internal weighing applications rather than certified commercial weighing.
The standard kit includes one pressure transducer, one M12P female socket-to-wire-leads cable assembly measuring 9.84 ft, two fuse taps and one RAM-MNT-KIT with ball mount, double socket arm and forklift ROPS clamp. The printer configuration also includes a 4-position female-to-male printer cable.
The FS-111 supports a 12–48 V operating range. The display specification lists a 5–30 V DC supply with approximately 300 mA typical current at 5 V DC. For 24–48 V electric lift trucks, no DC-DC converter is required.
Yes. The FS-111 can accumulate multiple load measurements, allowing operators to total the weight of successive loads during material-handling and warehouse operations.
